Thetford Forest Park is a Forestry Commision activity centre, with managed mountain bike trails, high ropes course, and full facilities including cafe and bike shop.
The area is relatively flat, but some good riding can be found on the waymarked trails or just exploring the plentiful singletrack inbetween the trees. The forest sectors are marked with numbered trees, so if you have a map you shouldn't get too lost.
The main car parks and facilities are at High Lodge Forest Centre (parking fees apply), or there is alternative parking available at Brandon Lodge.
It is the venue for several MTB XC races, including the well known Dusk Till Dawn night endurance race.
