The trail around the south end and west side of Warley Moor Reservoir is no longer public access so you must use the path at the north end and pick up the route at the north west corner.. Lumb La... read whole comment...

Fabulous route but a couple of problem areas as of 2015. Firstly, the route from the car park at Hardcastle Cragg is over a path specifically marked as "no cycling". You will be turned back if spotted... read whole comment...

Classic route over Hepstonstall Moor taking in the trails around Hurstwood reservoir , Dukes Cut into Hebden Bridge. Return route is over Widdop Reservoir and the excellent descent down Gorple Road . Don't miss out on the man made trails at Hurstwood at the very end !
