Description:-
From the car park head into the forest up the forest road. As you reach the 3 way split (point 2) take the middle road down the hill and climb up the other side. Keep left at the top and ride past the quarry. Just past the quarry you come to a forest break on your right (point 3) this is an old drovers road and faint single track. Head down here, fortunately quad bikes have created a distinct line. At the bottom of the hill cross the burn and head through the wall and start heading up hill, keeping the pylon to your right side. At the top of here (point 5) rejoin the forest road to your left. Just up from here (point 6) you can head right and rejoin the drovers road and head toward Straiton but this route is for another day. Point 6 keep straight ahead on the forest road until the junction and turn left up the hill (point 7). At the top you are back where you turned right down the single track. Here again turn right but on the opposite side heading down more faint single track. As you reach the bottom it can get wet and may need a push up the other side. At the top you rejoin the forest road. Here turn right (point 9) after a short ride you come across a loch on your left, you notice a path running around the back of this, take this circling back on yourself and pass through the gap in the trees. Follow the faint track through here keeping a straight line until you reach a more defined path which crosses your line. Turn left here and rejoin the forest road turning right and head toward the car park. At the car park head over the road onto the grassy bank and bear left through the track through the gorse. This will bring you onto a newly created forest road. Head up the hill to the top. Here at the bend you will see a forest break to your right. Head up here following the faint track. Once over the top head steeply down hill. At the bottom there is a jump (created by locals) immediately after this head into the forest, a track has been created through here (between the fosters cans!!!!!!!) keep between the yellow marks on the trees. This spits you back out into the forest break but head straight back into the gap in the forest, which turns you back into the forest break down a steep incline and a small section of rocky path. At the bottom of this turn right and you see a jump (caution extremely steep high drop off) Ride down beside the jump which spits you out off the forest and down the hill beside the fence. At the bottom (point 21) turn right pick a trail through the small forest or up the forest break which brings you straight back to the car park. There is a lot of forestry work at present so beware.
