Time: 2 hrs
Tech Grade: Hard
Fitness Grade: Moderate

Description:-
A short sharp route following much of the old race route, a lot of climbing in only 6 miles of riding, there is a great deal of local trail building going on in the area so mew bits appear all the time, some good technical section off the top of Auchterhouse hill and a brilliant descent back down to Balkello from the old quarry. Plenty to investigate and a big mountain feel to a ride just a stones throw from Dundee.

Sidlaws 3 Peaks Loop

Length: 7.5 Miles
Ascent: 396 m
Time: 1 hr
Tech Grade: Moderate
Fitness Grade: Moderate

Description:-
Larger loop for the Sidlaws 3 peaks, including the grueling climb up the tarmacked road to the tv towers.

Start off at the car park, leave the car park out on the main road again, turning left, carry on down here until you reach the crossroads for Craigowl Hill. The road never stops climbing, near the mid point turn left towards the tv towers. Once at the top of Craigowl hill (1) hop over the fence and you'll find a clear singletrack back towards Balluderon Hill. This section is very nice, very narrow and ends all to quickly, climb up to the summit of Balluderon, then carry out heading straight for Auchterhouse Hill, the path down is quite loose, so take care, once at the bottom go through the gate and follow the single track around the back of Auchterhouse Hill (2). Once at the top head straight back towards the car park, a nice flowing fast track but again all to short! There are many ways back to the car park, some nice hidden DH sections in there too.
