Access if possible to the top and bottom of the trails, either head through a gate at 53.347332, -1.583185, there is a layby for a few cars at this point. Head through the gate on the south side of the road (left leaving Sheffield), Continue along the track for ~350m and then turn left into the woods. Parking is also possible along the byway towards the bottom of the trails at 53.347269, -1.565616. There is considerably more space for cars here than in the former layby. Head through the wooden gate around 60m uphill from the road, and follow the bridleway through the woods. Access is also possible via the bridleway from near Fox House at 53.320900, -1.596040. The route is around 1 and 3/4 miles.

The area is managed by ride sheffield ( and currently features 2 blue grade trails (Cooking on Gas (1.4km) and Blue Steel (1.6km)). There are no staff members and facilities on site, and the trails are funded entirely by sponsorship and donations. The Norfolk Arms pub is located around 250m from the bottom of the trails.

Starts with a small climb, then flat through the trees and over some rock gardens. The trail then begins to descend through a number of berms. Note, there is a considerable amount of crossings of the trail by a pedestrian footpath. In general, these crossing are placed after rock gardens.
