Stobbs Cross

Best done in the summer to avoid bogginess, this is a figure of 8 loop across the bridleways of Hexhamshire Common. Proper XC cycling! If you are coming from the East, you could park just south of Rowley Wood and do the route from the top of the figure of 8.

An exposed moorland route, the trail is often quite variable across the moor and, even when dry, there is often still boggy parts and standing water.
